Social Worker & Play-Based Therapist

IMG_1777.PNG

Rose is a qualified social worker with extensive experience working and volunteering in the community. Over the years, she has supported children and families through a range of challenges, specialising in play-based therapy and family-focused interventions.

As a mother of three daughters, each with unique schooling experiences and varying levels of support needs, Rose brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work. She has spent the past two years as a contractor for a Melbourne-based organisation, delivering play-based therapy sessions and witnessing the positive impact on children and their families.

Rose’s approach is collaborative and child-centred, focusing on individualised goals to support wellbeing, skill development, and strong family connections. She is also developing animal-assisted therapy sessions with her Highlander calf in Drysdale, offering a peaceful, natural setting for children, adolescents and adults seeking regulation and calm.

Passionate about supporting families, Rose works alongside parents to navigate the challenges and joys of raising healthy, happy children, ensuring each child’s progress and happiness are at the heart of every session.
